[Vietnam, 23 September 2024] – The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam) has announced changes within its Board of Directors, reflecting both recent developments and exciting new opportunities for the organisation.
Dominik Meichle, Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam, has stepped down as Chairman to pursue an unanticipated yet promising new opportunity with Bosch in the United States. During his tenure, Dominik Meichle has demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication, particularly as the co-chair of the organising committee for the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2024. He played a key role in advancing EuroCham Vietnam agenda and led the EuroCham delegation this summer visiting the EU Commission in Brussels.
Bruno Jaspaert replaces Dominik as EuroCham Vietnam Chairman.
Bruno is based in Hai Phong City and originates from Belgium. He has been the CEO of DEEPC Industrial Zones in Vietnam for over six years and for the past four years, a member of the EuroCham Vietnam Advisory Board. His strong and long-lasting involvement with EuroCham ensures continuity and stability, reinforcing the chamber’s strong ties with Vietnamese authorities and other key stakeholders. Bruno’s leadership is set to drive EuroCham’s advocacy, sustainability, and development initiatives in 2024, building on the chamber’s strong foundations.
In addition to Dominik’s departure, Board Members Fanny Haniquaut and Anita H. Holgersen have also stepped down to take on new opportunities in Europe. They have been succeeded by Bruno Jaspaert and Didier Martin, General Manager of Pharma for Sanofi Vietnam.Additionally, replacing Dominik Meichle as EuroCham Board Member, Alexander Götz, former Chairman of the German Business Association (GBA) and General Manager at Fischer ASIA, has joined the EuroCham Board.
