EuroCham Vietnam extended a warm welcome to French Ambassador to Vietnam H.E .Olivier Brochet

On 22 September, EuroCham Vice-Chairman Jean-Jacques Bouflet and Executive Director Delphine Rousselet extended a warm welcome to the French Ambassador to Vietnam H.E. Olivier Brochet.

With Ambassador Olivier Brochet assuming his role as the French Ambassador to Vietnam, the meeting provided an opportunity to introduce him to key stakeholders within the EuroCham community. His presence underscored the commitment of both France and the European Union to Vietnam’s continued development and the strengthening of economic and diplomatic ties.The year 2023 holds special significance for both France and Vietnam as they celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and marks a decade of their Strategic Partnership. 

A highlight of the meeting was the emphasis placed on the strong and effective collaboration between EuroCham and CCIFV, the French Business Association in Vietnam, represented by CCIFV Executive Director Adam Koulaksezian. Joining Ambassador Brochet at the meeting were Mr. Philippe Fouet, Head of the Economic Section, Embassy of France in Vietnam, and the Consul General, Ms. Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser. Their participation emphasized the importance of diplomacy and economic engagement in Vietnam’s evolving business landscape.
