Business Luncheon: Foreigners and Senior Managers in Vietnam – Expectations and Concerns co-hosted by EuroCham and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited

On 29 June 2016, Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited (JLT) and EuroCham have co-hosted a business luncheon “Foreigners and Senior Managers in Vietnam – Expectations and Concerns” at Le Meridien Saigon (HCMC), participated by CEOs, Senior managers and HR Directors of multinational companies.
 
Private  health insurance is considered as an essential benefit in any attractive remuneration packages for foreign and senior managers, especially in emerging markets such as Vietnam. It also becomes a  challenge for employers as this benefit as a cost is rising each year. Therefore, the event aims to gather Senior Executives as well as HR Directors from various multinational companies to discuss that topic and solutions in how to manage expectations, but ensure that employees are covered. 
 
Insightful and practical presentations were delivered by guest speakers; South Regional Director of Navigos Search – Nguyen Phuong Mai shared the results of the survey across Asia on Foreigners/Senior Managers’ concerns and expectations to accepting a job offer  in Vietnam. The CEO of City International Hospital – Dr Le Quoc Su addressed the common ailments people suffer and how a health check-up system was help to assist and prevent. Sales Director for Aetna International in Southeast Asia – Mathieu Pilard gave a presentation on Evolution of Health Insurance from past to the future.
 
The panel discussion followed, with the presence of JM Group Country Chairman-Alain Cany and CEO of JLT Vietnam-Le Thi Ngoc Huong addressed the topic from various angles.
