EuroCham’s Must-Win Battles: Targeted Reforms for Measurable Impact

EuroCham introduced its Must-Win Battles (MWBs) in 2025 as a more focused, results-oriented approach to advocacy. Rather than only identifying regulatory challenges, the initiative prioritises policy reforms that can deliver tangible improvements to Vietnam’s business environment. These priorities reflect the experience of EuroCham’s members and Sector Committees and focus on areas that directly influence regulatory predictability, business confidence, investment decisions and Vietnam’s competitiveness.

Throughout 2025, EuroCham and its Sector Committees advanced these priorities through structured dialogues with government authorities, detailed technical submissions and sustained policy engagement. As of March 2026, meaningful progress had been recorded across several recommendations, while others remained under consideration or required further implementation. The overview below presents the adoption status of the Must-Win Battles, followed by detailed updates on the progress achieved and the remaining areas for action.

Looking ahead, continued and consistent implementation will be essential to translate policy commitments into measurable outcomes. EuroCham remains committed to working constructively with the Government of Vietnam to advance practical reforms, strengthen investor confidence and support Vietnam’s development as a competitive, sustainable and reliable partner in regional and global value chains.
