[HCMC] Tax Business Dialogue 2026 with Ho Chi Minh City Tax Authority

The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) and its Taxation and Transfer Pricing Sector Committee are partnering with the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Authority to organize the Tax-Business Dialogue 2026. Designed as a strategic forum, this event brings together tax authorities, policy experts, and the European business community to navigate Vietnam’s evolving tax landscape and international regulatory trends. The session will cover critical operational topics, including VAT refunds, cross-border transactions, corporate income tax (CIT) incentives, and tax audit compliance, aiming to clear implementation bottlenecks and foster a transparent, competitive investment environment across Ho Chi Minh City and surrounding industrial hubs.

The Dialogue aims at these following objectives:

• Policy and Enforcement Updates: Disseminate new tax regulations, tax administrative procedures, and compliance requirements from tax authorities.

• Dialogue & Obstacle Removal: Facilitate direct and constructive exchanges between tax authorities and businesses on practical issues in the process of implementing tax policies.

• Update international standards: Improve understanding of international tax trends and developments, as well as the direct impact on businesses operating in Vietnam.

• Linking public-private cooperation: Strengthening long-term cooperation between tax authorities and the European business community in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring industrial areas; building a predictable and competitive investment environment in Ho Chi Minh City.
