On 9 October 2024, EuroCham Vietnam hosted a working-group meeting with key representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham), the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH), and the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KoCham). This continued the collaborative efforts among the four chambers to amplify collective advocacy work and share insights on pressing regulatory and industry challenges.
The meeting delved deeper into key recommendations for draft decrees and circulars, focusing on issues affecting member companies, including manufacturing relocations and regulatory complexities across various sectors.
In anticipation of more significant decisions, it was agreed that the next meeting will be convened with the Chairs of each chamber, making it a pivotal moment for strategic advancements. This initiative also introduced the development of a shared reporting mechanism to address common challenges and formalise the chambers’ recommendations to the government.
