International Quality Generics (IQGx) Sector Committee Launch

EuroCham’s most recent Sector Committee has formed and is now ready to begin its activity. The International Quality Generics (IQGx) Sector Committee will also be under the EuroCham Healthcare Forum, a group of EuroCham sector committees which the Pharma Group and the Medical Devices and Diagnostics Sector Committee are also a part of. The Healthcare Forum was created to facilitate cooperation among EuroCham sector committees regarding healthcare sector topics of common interest. 

The IQGx Sector Committee aims to create a platform where issues and solutions can be discussed among likeminded business professionals in the industry. The group’s objective is to pool viewpoints and best practices towards providing solutions for an affordable, high-quality, and sustainable supply source for generic drugs in Vietnam.

The IQGx will also be contributing to the upcoming EuroCham Whitebook 2017, working on specific recommendations to the Vietnamese Government towards an ever improving business environment for this industry in the country.  

After a formation process carried out in recent months and led by 7 founding members, the IQGx Sector Committee has concluded its framing procedure and will be holding its launch session on the coming 17th October. Among other topics, the meeting will cover the election of its Board, while dedicated also to discussing priority topics, both for the group’s internal work and its contribution to the EuroCham Whitebook 2017.
This IQGx Sector Committee launch will take place at the EuroCham Office on Monday, 17th October and is open to all interested Eurocham Members with a connection to international quality generics.
