On 15 August in Khanh Hoa, the Ministry of Health held the 2025 Medical Device Business Dialogue, chaired by Standing Deputy Minister Mr Do Xuan Tuyen, with around 250 representatives from the sector, including EuroCham members.

The Ministry addressed recommendations on device classification, competition with low-cost imports, product registration, and measures against smuggling and fraud. Deputy Minister Tuyen urged companies to strengthen capacity and adopt digital and AI solutions.
Representing EuroCham’s Medical Devices and Diagnostics Sector Committee (MDDSC), Ms. Truong Thi To Hoa – Head of MDDSC’s Regulatory Working Group raised challenges such as post-market surveillance, administrative changes, and decentralisation, while presenting proposed solutions.

EuroCham and MDDSC reaffirmed our commitment to working alongside the Government and Ministry of Health to share international best practices, provide technical support, and build capacity, thereby contributing to improving healthcare quality and access to advanced medical services for Vietnamese people.
