On 19 January 2026, EuroCham Vietnam welcomed the EU Delegation’s Trade Team to our HCMC office for a series of in-depth meetings with EuroCham’s Sector Committees. The delegation was led by Mr. Laurent Lourdais (Deputy Head), alongside Mr. Ky Anh Le (Economist & Trade Specialist).
Representing EuroCham were Mr. Jean-Jacques Bouflet, Vice Chairman in charge of Advocacy; Ms. Van Nguyen, Head of Hanoi Office & External Relations Manager; and leaderships from the Cosmetics Sector Committee, European Standard Medicines Sector Committee, Pharma Group, Wine & Spirits Sector Committee, Nutritional Foods Group, Transportation & Logistics Sector Committee, Intellectual Property Rights Sector Committee, Mobility Sector Committee.
Discussions spanned a wide range of trade and regulatory issues: from pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, to food safety, customs and intellectual property, automotive, wine and spirits policy. These exchanges reaffirmed our shared commitment to transparent dialogue, evidence-based policymaking, and a stable, predictable business environment for European companies in Vietnam.
