[This information concerns the membership renewal of EuroCham Direct members. Members of affiliated business associations BeluxCham; CEEC; DBAV; CCIPV; CCIFV; GBA; ICham; NordCham and SCC; please refer to your business association.]

Dear Members,

As we reach the end of a difficult year, we wanted to thank you for being a valued part of our chamber. Now, more than ever, we appreciate your continued trust and support. Despite the challenges of the last nine months, EuroCham ends 2020 with more than 1,000 members, making us one of the biggest foreign chambers of commerce in Vietnam.

Over the course of this year, we organized many training sessions, seminars, conferences, and networking events. As soon as COVID-19 stopped us meeting in person, we moved our activities online to keep members updated, connected, and informed. Meanwhile, we continued to bring European business and the Vietnamese Government together through our advocacy activities. We held numerous meetings and dialogues, involving the most relevant departments and the highest circles of Government.

Our members are the heart of our chamber. So, this year we launched a membership survey to find out what matters to you, how we can improve our services, and prioritize the activities that are most valued. The majority of our members said that their membership of EuroCham was worth the investment, but we want to continue improving in 2021.
In addition to the information we provide through our website, social media, and weekly e-bulletin, please see an overview of EuroCham’s engagement in 2020 here.

Despite the challenges of COVID-19, EuroCham ends 2020 with significant achievements: Our 2020 Gala Dinner was a huge success, bringing together over 400 members to celebrate the best of European business with an evening of live entertainment, awards and networking. Meanwhile, our practical events with local authorities – such as our annual Customs dialogue in HCMC – helped members to keep up to date with the latest changes affecting their business operations. We want to build on this success in 2021, organizing more business luncheons, seminars, social events and Government roundtables, on top of our annual Gala Dinner and Christmas Parties. These activities offer unique opportunities for our members to meet, connect and network with each other as well as to build new business relationships. We are also working with our affiliated business associations, a cooperation which is a worldwide benchmark on even more membership benefits.

Your membership is what makes all this possible. Your participation in our events and leadership of our Sector Committees allows EuroCham to work towards the improvement of the business environment in Vietnam, connect our community, and add value to you and your business. EuroCham is proud to have you as a member. And we look forward to continuing to work together to make 2021 another successful year.
One of the changes we will be making next year concerns our Membership Directory. In our 2020 survey, a majority of our members wishes digital copies in the future. Going digital will also enable our chamber to be more green and sustainable in the future, while retaining the value of this important directory. So, from 2021, the Membership Directory will be digital only.

Please note that the deadline to settle the membership fee is the 31st of January 2021. You should have received an invoice in early December; please contact us if this did not arrive.
