Following the success of the GEFE 2024 Student Day and Business Challenge (attended by 1000 students), EuroCham Vietnam and Kühne Logistics University (KLU) formalised their collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding in Ho Chi Minh City last week. This agreement lays the foundation for a long-term strategic partnership focused on education, research, and sustainability. Signing the MOU were:
- Prof. Dr. Andreas Kaplan – President, Kühne Logistics University
- Dr. Immo Schmidt-Jortzig – Executive Administrative Director, Kühne Logistics University
- Ms. Delphine Rousselet – Executive Director, EuroCham Vietnam

Through this MoU, both organisations commit to leading joint initiatives, including, but not limited to, student competitions, research on green logistics, and policy dialogues promoting sustainable development in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. The cooperation framework also supports talent development, with capacity-building programmes tailored to industry needs.
The principles guiding this partnership—mutual benefit, transparency, and a firm commitment to sustainability—will frame future collaborations. This MoU marks a significant step towards bridging academic expertise and business networks for a greener and more innovative future.
A first innovative initiative will be launched in the weeks to come; watch this space for updates on how EuroCham Vietnam and KLU will bring sustainability and logistics excellence to the next level!
