On Sunday, 7 July, EuroCham Vietnam Vice-Chair Claudia Anselmi participated in the Announcement Ceremony of Hung Yen Province’s Masterplan for 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2050. Her participation included a pre-recorded video address.
The event, attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, ministerial and provincial leaders, and local businesses, marked a significant milestone in the region’s development strategy.
Hung Yen, located in the Red River Delta region of northern Vietnam, plays a crucial role in the country’s economic landscape. Known for its rich history and strategic location near Hanoi, the province has become increasingly important as an industrial and agricultural centre. Its proximity to major transportation hubs and growing industrial parks makes it an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign investment.
