EuroCham, VLA, and FIATA Drive Collaboration in Logistics

On Wednesday, 12 February 2025, EuroCham Vietnam hosted a comprehensive meeting with a delegation of the Vietnamese Logistics Association (VLA), led by VLA President Paul Khoa, and joined by Dr. Stéphane Graber, Director General the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA), to address key challenges and opportunities in the global transportation and logistics sectors.

Representing EuroCham Vietnam, Diep Truong (Advocacy Manager) and Pauline Dutertre (Head of Communications and Marketing) discussed FIATA’s strategic priorities, focusing on digitalisation, regulatory compliance, while also highlighting the role of international partnerships in fostering innovation and sustainable growth. Central to the discussions was the announcement of the upcoming FIATA World Congress, themed “Green and Resilient Logistics” in October 2025. The event will provide a platform to explore collaboration opportunities, drive industry innovation, and foster strategic partnerships.

Participants to the meeting also covered topics ranging from next-generation economic corridors, sustainable transport modalities to free trade zones and supply chain diplomacy, emphasising the need for modern infrastructures and regulatory alignment among evolving global trade dynamics. The discussions also explored innovative strategies to reduce costs and enhance operational efficiencies, notably reflecting a proactive stance towards future market shifts.
