EuroCham, in collaboration with LivWell Vietnam, hosted an insightful workshop titled “Mental Wellbeing: An Imperative for Businesses in Vietnam,” tailored for leaders seeking to prioritize employee welfare. Held on 29 February 2024, the event brought together industry experts and forward-thinking leaders to explore the crucial intersection of mental health and business success.
The workshop delved into various facets of mental wellbeing in the workplace, beginning with defining employee well-being and identifying prevalent mental health issues within the Vietnamese workforce. Attendees gained valuable insights into local challenges and the accessibility of mental support for employees, crucial factors in addressing and managing mental health concerns effectively.
A pivotal discussion centered on the impact of employee mental support and health benefits on productivity and employee turnover. Through market initiatives and Vietnam-specific case studies, participants learned about tangible strategies to enhance employee well-being while positively influencing organizational outcomes.
Participants also had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Wellness Exhibition, experiencing the six pillars of wellness for practical takeaways. This interactive component allowed attendees to explore holistic approaches to employee well-being and gather actionable strategies to implement within their organizations.
