On 21st March 2024, EuroCham organized a Webinar: Job Market in Viet Nam 2024 which was moderated by Ms. Do Kim Thao – The representative of EuroCham Human Resources & Training Sector Committee, she is also the Deputy General Director of HR2B. The Webinar featured insightful sharing from 3 esteemed keynote speakers with great expertise in the Job Market and human resources including: Ms. Ngo Thi Ngoc Lan – Regional Director of Navigos Seach; Ms. Alison Astarita – Vice President Operations of ASSA ABLOY Viet Nam and Mr. Matt Long – Founder/ CEO of Groove Technology. More than 70 enthusiastic attendees from both member and non-member enterprises joined the Webinar.
Opening the webinar, Ms. Do Kim Thao extended a warm welcome remark to all valuable speakers and participants as well as highlighted the goal of the webinar. After the opening remarks, 3 speakers shared their informative presentations on clarifying the key trends, features and major pros and cons of the global and national job market.
The first presentation was delivered by Ms. Ngoc Lan which provided a thorough overview of the global Labour Market in 2024 and then delved deeply into the features of Viet Nam’s Labour Market with great recommendations for enterprises to attract talent. After that, Ms. Alsion delivered her presentation on navigating job trends in the manufacturing industry and provided labor forces with prioritized skills and factors when looking for a new job. Mr, Matt Long was the third speaker who clarified the key global talent trends in Technology with a focus on the potential for European Companies to make use of the advantages of labor market in Viet Nam.
After the informative sharing from the speakers, there came the active discussion between participants and speakers. The Webinar welcomed several questions from the participants regarding their concerns about practical solutions to rapidly adapt to the changes of Job Market globally and nationally. Especially Mrs. Lan delivered clarification and valuable recommendation on the potential cooperation between Universities and Recruiters in navigating talents over a long term.
