EuroCham Vietnam and AmCham jointly invite you to join us at a special event exploring the rapidly evolving world of Wellness Tourism in Vietnam. This dynamic panel discussion will bring together distinguished industry experts to share insights on a wide spectrum of topics, including Wellness, Wellness Hotels, Wellness Real Estate, Women in Leadership & Wellness, Dental Tourism, and Wellness Companies & Technology.

  • Trang Dinh
    Trang Dinh
    Partner & Commercial Director, Lumina Wellbeing

    Trang Dinh has a strong history in investments and finance. Her professional background includes jobs in equities research at Goldman Sachs in London, private equity investment at VinaCapital and SEAF in Vietnam, corporate development, and senior management at Thien Minh Group, one of Vietnam’s top travel, hospitality, and airline conglomerates. In addition to overseeing financial matters both internally and for our clients, Trang is in charge of business and corporate development. She also analyzes and advises on project due diligence, viability, financial strategy, investment, and funding.

    ‍Trang’s wellness journey includes a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and she is a practicing yogi and meditator.

    Executive Coach, Author and Storyteller Founder Lightpath Leadership

    Irene coaches senior executives and high potentials in the Asia Pacific region.

    In 1:1 coaching her focus is on leadership development, successful transitions into more strategic roles, and Storytelling as a Leadership Skill. In team coaching she uses a strength-based approach to realise individual and team excellence.

    Irene was part of the 1st batch of corporate coaches certified in Mainland China in 2002.

    Irene has been based in Vietnam since 2012 and has since become a sought-after expert for her work to promote Coaching, Women Leadership and the Power of Storytelling.

    She has pioneered a number of initiatives that use Storytelling to inspire, connect and lead: She co-authored the best-selling, awarded book on Vietnamese Women Leaders, ‘Ba Trieu’s 21st Century Daughters’, and co-founded the live event series, the Women’s Storytelling Salon in 2014.

    Irene had the honour to consult to the Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City to organise Vietnam’s 1st Women’s and 1st Gender Conferences, as well as to Flinders University for four ‘Women in Leadership Journey’ programs. She is a regular speaker on the topic of women leadership.

    Dr. Albert Viet Le
    Specialist Periodontist and Implantologist, Premier Dental

    In 2003, Dr. Albert Viet Le completed his dental training at Melbourne University (Australia), graduating with honours and was awarded the WJ Tuckfield Prize for high performance in prosthodontics. After graduation, he worked as a full-time Dental Officer in the Australian Army from 2003-2007 where he served in Australia, Asia and Iraq. Dr. Albert Viet Le transferred to the Army Reserves and entered full-time private practice for 7 years where he enjoyed providing highest quality general dentistry. During this time, Dr. Albert Viet Le completed advanced training in endodontics and restorative dentistry, and a 2-year implantology program at Melbourne University where he learned surgery and prosthodontics.

    With the mission to offer clinical excellence for his patients, he moved to the USA for advanced specialist training in periodontics and implant dentistry at Columbia University (New York), one of the top dental schools in the USA. During his specialty training, Dr. Albert Viet Le received awards for best academic and clinical performance. After finishing the 3-year full-time program in 2016, he was invited to teach and research at Columbia University. He is a specialist periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

    Principal and CEO, Avison Young Vietnam and Cambodia

    David Jackson has practiced Commercial Real Estate for almost 20 years and has been operating in South East Asia since 2008. He is currently the Principal and Chief Executive Officer for Avison Young in Vietnam and Cambodia.

    David manages the operational aspects of the company along with setting the strategic vision and goals. He also maintains a rich portfolio of major clients through his high level of service, attention to detail and consulting expertise.

    David previously held the positions at Colliers Vietnam of CEO, Deputy General Director, Chief Information Officer and Property Director for Asset Services and Sales Director.

    Currently is the Chief Operating Officer (COO), David brings to us more than 20 years of experience in the Asian hospitality sector. To support Fusion’s long-term strategy, David is responsible for driving growth, developing our brands in new markets across Asia Pacific and improving the performance of our existing hotels. To complement the growth and performance his focus will be nurturing the relationships with our partners and enhancing the positioning of our Brands.

    Canadian-born David has joined the Vietnam-based team from his previous base in Thailand where he most recently oversaw global development for Dusit International focused on growth in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe. Prior to that he spent nine years with Onyx Hospitality Group in Bangkok as Vice President, responsible for company growth in the Southeast Asian market and as Vice President in charge of Operations and Hotel Openings.

    Mark Gillin has been identifying, developing and investing in business opportunities in Vietnam since 1993.

    He is a founder and chairman of America Indochina Management Ltd. (AIM). Founded in 1993, AIM is one of the oldest American-owned companies in Vietnam. It has built and invested in market-leading businesses in a variety of sectors covering construction, furniture, healthcare, education, ecommerce, and hospitality.

    Mark is a founding member of AmCham Vietnam. He has served 12 years as Governor, including one year as Chairman, three as Vice Chairman and one as Secretary. He provided input for the US-VN Bi-lateral Trade Agreement; the WTO agreement and the Transpacific Partnership (TPP). Committee and was Co-Chair of the VBF Tax and Customs Working Group.

    He served as non-executive board member of Navigos/Vietnamworks, AA Corporation, Japan Medical Corporation, and Indochina Assets Limited.

    He graduated with honors from Duke University with a BA in Policy Studies.

    Mr. Mendis, an accomplished international hotelier and industry leader, brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. His 26-year career spans global hospitality hubs, including Australia, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Thailand, and Vietnam. Most recently, he served as Chairman of EuroCham’s Tourism & Hospitality Sector Committee, advocating for visa policies, medical tourism, and sustainable travel initiatives.

    As Chief Delegate, based in Danang, Mr. Mendis will play a pivotal role in expanding EuroCham’s influence in Central Vietnam’s dynamic economic environment. His agenda includes enhancing business advocacy, strengthening industry-government collaboration, and driving strategic membership growth. With deep cultural insight and a results-driven approach, Mr. Mendis is poised to elevate EuroCham’s regional engagement and create new opportunities for European enterprises.
