    Senior Director of Economic and Financial Market Analysis at Techcombank

    Mr Dang Ngoc Canh held a Master’s Degree in Public Policy at National University of Singapore (NUS). He had more than 10-year working experience at Foreign Exchange Management Department and Monetary Policy Department of State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), and has also significantly contributed to commercial banks. Mr Canh has been working over 10 years at Techcombank, and has been Senior Assistant of Board of Directors. He is currently Director of Economic and Financial Market Analysis, and Vice President of Vietnam Interbank Research Association (VIRA).

    Tax Director of Deloitte Vietnam | Customs and Global Trade

    Bob Fletcher is a Director, and leader of Customs & Global Trade team in HCMC. Prior to joining Deloitte Vietnam, Bob was the leader of Deloitte’s Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Customs & Global Trade practice.

    With 35+ years in customs and trade consultancy, Bob is has assisted many MNCs, including those in the Oil and Gas, Industrial Products sector, structure their contractual and supply chain arrangements to be customs duty/VAT efficient – Support provided includes tariff classification, FTA planning and operational certification procedures, customs duty refund, Customs finalization reports, assessment of EPE qualification, post-clearance customs audit, customs valuation, duty relief optimization (including manufacturing for export), cash-flow planning, trade facilitation (including bonded warehouse, product labelling requirements).

    Bob is a frequent speaker on various trending customs and trade topics, and has provided technical and interpretative guidance to various Customs authorities in the SEA and AP region – including Vietnam.

    Vice President, Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam

    Andre de Jong was appointed Vice President, Managing Director of Bosch Vietnam in November 2024.He has been with the Bosch Group for over 28 years, holding various leadership roles in multiple countries.

    In addition to managing director role of Bosch Vietnam, Andre also took on a dual role as Regional Business Unit Head for Two-Wheeler and Powersports, representing the component business in ASEAN, including the fast-growing market for electric motorcycles.

    Born in the Netherlands, de Jong began his career with Bosch in 1997 as a Brand Manager for Power Tools in Benelux. Since then, he has gained extensive experience in branding, sales and marketing, international management, and leadership, having been based in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Germany.

    Prior to his current dual role, Mr. de Jong served as Managing Director of Bosch in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.

    De Jong holds a degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is married and has three children.

    Product & Solution Advisor at Techcombank

    Michael Dao is a trade finance expert with over 20 years of experience in supply chain financing, commodity structured trade solutions and financial institutions trade products. As the Advisor at Lending Solution, CIBG of Techcombank, he leads product innovation and supply chain financing strategies from both product and digitalization capabilities.

    Previously, he held First Vice President role at UOB Singapore, overseeing Open Account & Supply Chain Finance Products across APAC markets. He also held other senior roles at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Cargill Structured Trade Finance, specializing in risk mitigation, liquidity solutions, and structured trade finance.

    Michael holds an MBA as ADB Scholar at NUS Business School, Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade Economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, Vietnam.
