  • Mr. Warrick Cleine MBE
    Mr. Warrick Cleine MBE
    Chairman and CEO & Managing Partner of Deals, Tax and Legal of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia

    Warrick Cleine has been based in Vietnam for 25 years, and serves on the Asia Pacific Board and Global Council of KPMG.  He is the Chairman and CEO of KPMG in Vietnam and Cambodia, and Managing Partner of the firm’s Deals, Tax and Legal practice. KPMG is the leading professional services firm in Vietnam and Cambodia, with 60 partners and 2,000 employees. The Firm provides Audit, Tax, Legal, Deal Advisory and Management Consulting services from offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang and Phnom Penh.
    In addition to his leadership role at KPMG, Warrick is an Adjunct Industry Professor at RMIT University, in the School of Business and Management; Chairman of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam; Chairman of the British Corporate Advocacy Council in Vietnam; an advisor to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and an Honorary Advisor to the Asia New Zealand Foundation. He is recognised as one of South East Asia’s leading corporate advisors and is a speaker and writer on Asia Pacific business, geopolitical and economic affairs, with experience advising both Government and corporates on strategy, corporate governance, trade, taxation, and structuring.
    Warrick is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CA), and is registered as a CPA in both Vietnam (VACPA) and Cambodia (KICPAA).

  • Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong
    Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong
    Director, Department for General Economic Issues and Integration Studies, CIEM

    Duong holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Economics, both from the Australian National University (Australia). He joined the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) – the leading think-tank in Viet Nam – in 2004. Currently being the Director of the Department for General Economic Issues and Integration Studies, he has various important research papers and policy recommendations to the Government of Viet Nam on FTAs, macroeconomic policy, digital economy and circular economy.
    Duong has extensive cooperation under APEC and ASEAN framework. He led the APEC Economic Committee Team to develop the Enhanced APEC Agenda for Structural Reform 2021-2025, endorsed by the 3rd APEC Structural Reform Ministerial Meeting in June 2021. He has been leading the implementation of Viet Nam’s action plan for structural reform under APEC since 2011. Since 2019, he represents CIEM at the ASEAN+6 Regional Institute Network (RIN), coordinated by Bangkok Research Center, IDE-JETRO.

    Minh is Partner in charge of Advisory Services at Forvis Mazars in Vietnam. With nearly 20 years of professional experience at one of the “Big 4” and Forvis Mazars, Minh has developed into one of the leading Tax advisors in the Vietnamese market, with class leading skills particularly in International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and International Trade. His projects include market entry services, multinational group transaction restructuring, M&A, tax compliance and advisory, transfer pricing review and documentation, tax audit assistance for clients, and customs review and compliance.​
    Minh is Vice – Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), Executive Committee Member of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce (CEEC), Board Member of the EU-Vietnam Business Council, where he involves in supporting European companies doing business in Vietnam via various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies, and to promote business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries.​
    Minh is currently a member of the Asia-Pacific Committee of Praxity Alliance (one of the largest global Alliances of accounting firms in the world), in charge of regional transfer pricing engagements, and promotion of Praxity firms in the region.​
    Minh is now Vice – Chairman of Committee No. 1 on Policy Reform of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Administrative Procedures Reform (ACAPR).

  • Mr. Denzel Eades
    Mr. Denzel Eades
    Chairman of BritCham Vietnam

    Denzel is the co-founder of PIC and manages the firm’s offices in Hanoi and Singapore.
    Denzel has over 20 years of experience working with both global financial institutions and leading law firms in both Europe and Asia and he has a broad expertise in project, leveraged finance and complex global restructurings. He previously worked with Clifford Chance LLP based in London, Tokyo, Moscow, Hanoi and Bangkok. During his 10 year career with the firm he worked on some of the largest and country first project and leveraged financings in the UK and Asia.
    Following Clifford Chance he worked for HSBC in Hong Kong with a focus on project finance, distressed debt and global restructurings. Denzel was based in Hanoi, Vietnam from 2010-2012 and was seconded to Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi’s (BTMU) project finance team in Tokyo in 2013.

    Principal Country Economist, Viet Nam Resident Mission - Southeast Asia Department of Asian Development Bank (ADB)

    Mr. Hung is the Principal Country Economist based in the ADB Viet Nam Resident Mission in Ha Noi. He manages the Country Programming Team to undertake regular monitoring of macroeconomic development in Viet Nam, formulate the assistance pipeline of ADB in the country in collaboration with relevant ministries and agencies, and deliver knowledge program to support appropriate stakeholders in the country. Prior to joining the Viet Nam Resident Mission, he was a Senior Regional Cooperation and Integration Specialist in the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department, and Trade Specialist in the Public Management, Financial Sector and Trade Division and Regional Cooperation Specialist in the Regional Cooperation and Operations Coordination Division in the Southeast Asia Department. He joined ADB in May 2008.
    Prior to joining ADB, he worked at the Economics Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Viet Nam on cooperation initiatives in the Mekong subregion involving Viet Nam, as well as economic diplomacy efforts.
    Mr. Hung holds a BA International Relations degree from the Institute for International Relations, Viet Nam, and an MA International Studies and Diplomacy degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, United Kingdom.
