EuroCham Vietnam has appointed Mario Mendis as Chief Delegate for Central Vietnam, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening regional business engagement and advocacy.
Mendis, an accomplished international hotelier and industry leader, brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy. His 26-year career spans global hospitality hubs, including Australia, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Thailand, and Vietnam. Most recently, he served as Chairman of EuroCham’s Tourism & Hospitality Sector Committee, advocating for visa policies, medical tourism, and sustainable travel initiatives.
As Chief Delegate, based in Danang, Mendis will play a pivotal role in expanding EuroCham’s influence in Central Vietnam’s dynamic economic environment. His agenda includes enhancing business advocacy, strengthening industry-government collaboration, and driving strategic membership growth.
