As you may know, EuroCham is planning an exceptional event this September: 

VIETNAM – EU FORUM ON SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

Agriculture 4.0: The Key to European Markets.

The forum will take place at the Melia Hotel on September 19, 2019. This high profile event will bring together top leaders from European companies and policy makers of the industry in Vietnam (please see the draft agenda below for more information). We expect the presence of top leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development including Minister H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong.

The event will include a conference and mini exhibition focused on various agricultural sectors. Its aim will be to develop the export of traceable, certified, and safe agricultural products from Vietnam to the European Union (EU). We expect to bring together Vietnamese policy makers, farmers, exporters and European expertise and solutions. At the same time, the event will share practical information and solutions on important themes such as the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA). It will truly benefit Vietnam by bringing over key European players in agriculture and introducing the latest European technologies to help address development challenges the country faces today, such as climate change.

In this context, agriculture 4.0 and hi-tech agriculture are expected to play a strategic role in sustainable agriculture growth and maintaining the quality of the environment. In addition, they will also address the problems of finance in farming, and above all facilitate networking and partnerships between European companies and their Vietnamese counterparts. As such, this forum offers a unique platform for European and Vietnamese business and government representatives to exchange ideas and develop common solutions for Vietnam.
