Bayer Agricademy is established as a center for knowledge sharing and excellence in advanced farming solution by offering training for local farmers to build-up knowledge and skills on safe, sustainable, profitable, and globally-acceptable crop production.

The Bayer Agricademy is designed to provide Vietnamese farmers with advanced knowledge of agronomy, cultivation techniques and integrated pest management solutions. With those, Bayer Agricademy practically helps farmers improve productivity, quality and profit, contributing to the achieving the ultimate goal of Vietnam government in increasing quality of Vietnam agricultural products to be qualified for export, boosting export in agriculture and GDP growth and accelerating the modernization of the industry.
Within the framework of Bayer Agricademy, Bayer cooperates with government science agencies such as SOFRI (Southern Fruit Research Institute) and WASI (Western Highland Agriculture & Forestry Science Institute) to develop tailored and advanced trainings that provide practical information including crop management, pest management, high-tech agricultural solutions and eco-friendly solutions as well as necessary knowledge to develop sustainable and scalable business models that benefit small holder farmers.

Since its first launch in May 2019 to now (October 2019), 13 Bayer Agircademy classes focusing in 2 key Vietnam exporting fruits (pomelo & durina) and coffee had been organized for 900 farmers in the Mekong Delta and the Central Highlands. For the remaining of 2019, the company will open 4 more classes for 200 fruit framers. The program will be continued in 2020 with more classes and crops to be targeted.
