On August 3, 2021, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company – the investor of Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park donated the RT-PCR testing system to the Health sector in Phu My town, Ba Ria Vung Tau province. 

This is a practical activity to support the locality to proactively test for people at high risk of COVID-19, contributing to early detection and preventing the disease from spreading to the community.

Phu My town (BR-VT province) is an industrial seaport urban area, with 9 industrial parks, including Phu My 3 Specialised Industrial Park and Cai Mep seaport system in operation, attracting hundreds of thousands of workers and many businesses, investors, managers, high-skilled workers, foreign experts come to work with many exciting economic activities.

However, in the current situation of the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic and complicated developments, it has greatly affected the production and business activities of industrial parks as well as enterprises in industrial parks in the Phu My town. Currently, the businesses in industrial parks in particular as well as units in Phu My town in general are having to review, check, take samples for COVID-19 screening test for the whole factory as well as for other businesses and people on a large scale to promptly detect infected and suspected cases in order to separate F0 from the community. Therefore, the need for testing for COVID-19 screening is urgent.

Currently, the RT-PCR testing systems of Ba Ria Vung Tau province, concentrated mainly at the Provincial CDC, which are operating at full capacity but still cannot cope with the current epidemic situation. Therefore, businesses are having to test by rapid test method with the cost of one test for one person is quite high.

Realizing the need for RT-PCR testing machines to be able to be proactive in disease screening for enterprises in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park in particular and in Phu My town in general, at the same time ensuring chain that combines epidemic prevention and socio-economic development, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company decided to donate the RT-PCR testing machine system to Phu My town, in order to help localities and enterprises be  more proactive in epidemic prevention as well as in the production and business activities of the Factory.

Speaking at the Receiving Ceremony of the RT-PCR testing machine system, Mr. Ta Quoc Bao – Deputy General Director of Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company shared: "In the face of the current complicated epidemic situation, we are extremely honored to hand over to Phu My town this RT-PCR testing machine system with the desire to partly share difficulties with the authorities, businesses in Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park in particular and other businesses in Phu My town in general, in order to give more motivation to fight the epidemic together as well as ensure the goal of both effective anti-epidemic and stable production and business activities."

Since the beginning of the year, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company – Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Park has donated more than 15 billion VND for the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic. Previously, on May 28, Thanh Binh Phu My also donated 10 billion VND to the COVID-19  Vaccine Fund for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
