NordCham Green Construction Conference 2024, organised on Tuesday, 19 November, and co-hosted by EuroCham and its Construction Sector Committee (CSC), brought together industry leaders to explore sustainable practices in construction. The event provided constructive insights and practical solutions to drive the green transition within Vietnam’s construction landscape.
Key Highlights from the Conference
EuroCham CSC Chairman Mr. Michel Cassagnes delivered a keynote address, introducing the committee’s mission to bridge the gap between private and public sectors. He shed a light on the CSC’s efforts to promote best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and simplified permitting processes, creating a business-friendly environment. Mr. Cassagnes also spotlighted other CSC’s activities, including the Tall Building Conference, regular engagements with the Ministry of Construction (MOC), and an anticipated MOU signing with the Saigon Construction Association (SACA). He invited stakeholders to join the CSC in advancing a greener future for Vietnam’s construction industry.
Vice Chairman Mr. King Cheng contributed to an engaging panel discussion on Green Vertical Transportation in Modern Buildings, offering expertise on innovative, energy-efficient solutions.
Vice Chairwoman Mrs. Jessica Duverneix, along with several CSC members, actively participated in the event, showcasing EuroCham’s dedication to fostering sustainable development in the construction sector.
