On 9 May 2025, the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR) held a consultation workshop on building capacity for ACAPR members in implementing resolution No. 66/NQ-CP dated 26 March 2025.
Attending the workshop were:
- Mr. Nguyễn Duy Hoàng – Director General of the Administrative Procedure Control Agency (OOG), Standing Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of ACAPR
- Mr. Trần Đức Trung – Chief of the Office, Administrative Procedure Control Agency
- Ms. Nguyễn Thị Trà Lê – Head of General Economic Sector, Administrative Procedure Control Division
- Mr. Nguyễn Hùng Huế – Head of Sectoral Economic Sector, Administrative Procedure Control Division
Representing EuroCham was Ms. Van Nguyen – Head of EuroCham’s Hanoi Office and External Relations.
ACAPR’s 2025 achievements and priorities
During the conference session, Mr. Trần Đức Trung reported on ACAPR’s achievements in the first four months of 2025. He particularly recognised EuroCham’s proactive engagement, highlighting the successful launch of the 2024 Whitebook held in April. Mr. Trung also outlined key priorities for the remaining eight months of 2025, emphasising ACAPR’s role in implementing Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP.
EuroCham’s contribution to administrative reform
Representing EuroCham, Ms. Van Nguyen presented on how EuroCham Vietnam identifies and consolidates procedural challenges faced by its members. She also shared insights into EuroCham’s policy advocacy activities, particularly the 5 cross-sectoral advocacy priorities for 2025. Notably, Ms. Van Nguyen’s introduction to the Whitebook drew significant interest from other participants with questions on how to formulate and submit recommendations to relevant authorities.
