EuroCham Hosts First Meeting of Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR) Committee on Reform

Last Friday, 5 April, 2024 EuroCham hosted the inaugural meeting of Committee 1 of the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR) at our Hanoi office. 

 

The committee focused on Mechanisms, Policies, and Administrative Procedures Reform, and convened under the chairmanship of Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, Director General of the Administrative Procedure Control Agency (APCA) and Vice-Chair cum Secretary General of Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform (ACAPR), along with Mr. Nguyen Van Than, National Assembly Representative and Vice-Chair of ACAPR and Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME).

 

Representing EuroCham was Vice-Chair Minh Nguyen, who also serves as Vice-Chair of Committee 1. Other committee members were in attendance to report on activities in the first quarter of 2024 and discuss priorities for the remaining three quarters.

 

The Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform was created to foster transparent, efficient, and user-friendly procedures. Committee 1 is one of four committees dedicated to specific reform areas.

 

EuroCham has been an active member of ACAPR since its inception, reflecting its mission to elevate European business interests and promote a transparent, reformed state management system in Vietnam.
