EuroCham leaders meet with EU’s Asia-Oceania Working Party

On Friday, 26 April, representatives from EuroCham Vietnam, including Vice-Chairmen Torben Minko and Minh Nguyen, Board Members Tri-Mai Hoang and Anita Holgersen, and Head of our Hanoi Office cum External Relations Manager Van Nguyen, met with the EU’s Asia-Oceania Working Party (COASI). EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier participated as well. The COASI is responsible for the EU’s relations with 27 countries and 6 regional organizations in Asia and Oceania. Discussions covered EU-Vietnam ties, EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement implementation, Vietnam’s investment climate, market access barriers, and opportunities in renewable energy, infrastructure, and high-tech sectors. Sustainability also took center stage, with talks on how Team Europe could support Vietnam’s ESG goals through initiatives like EuroCham’s GEFE 2024.
