During a recent visit to Singapore, Delphine Rousselet, Executive Director of EuroCham Vietnam, engaged in a series of impactful meetings with high-level partners, reinforcing EuroCham’s dedication to strengthening collaboration across Europe, Vietnam, and ASEAN. This trip highlighted a shared vision for green growth, an agenda firmly established at the Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE 2024) held in Vietnam, where EuroChams in the region’s participation offered a compelling case for Europe-Vietnam-ASEAN partnerships.
On 4 November, Delphine met with the Lithuanian delegation, including H.E. Mr. Darius Gaidys, Lithuanian Ambassador to Singapore, Vietnam, and ASEAN, and Mr. Arunas Karlonas, Commercial Attaché. Lithuania’s active role at GEFE 2024, with KN Energies exhibiting at the Lithuanian pavilion, demonstrated a commitment to sustainable innovation and laid a foundation for promising future collaborations. The Lithuanian Vice Minister of Energy, Mrs. Inga Žilienė, expressed great enthusiasm, reinforcing Lithuania’s interest in fostering green partnerships with Vietnam and the region.
The following day, 5 November, Delphine met with Air France-KLM representatives Femke Kroese, General Manager for Southeast Asia & Oceania, and Chloe Chang, Regional B2C Marketing Executive. The meeting celebrated their continuous support and explored ways to further strengthen ties between the companies. As a long-time collaborator, Air France-KLM’s commitment to sustainable growth resonates with EuroCham’s broader mission in the region.
Delphine also reconnected with Jens Ruebbert, Chairman of EuroCham Singapore and the EU-ASEAN Business Council. Jens, a former Chairman of EuroCham Vietnam, brought continuity to discussions on regional partnerships, and both leaders explored opportunities for closer EU-ASEAN engagement through upcoming green-focused events like GEFE 2026. The evening culminated at EuroCham Singapore’s “Sustainovation” Whitebook Launch and Sustainability Awards 2024 Gala, celebrating the outstanding contributions of businesses driving sustainable innovation.
Through these engagements, EuroCham Vietnam reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing Europe-Vietnam partnerships. As the region advances toward sustainable development, such collaborations are crucial for addressing the challenges of a green future. EuroCham Vietnam is grateful for the partnerships that allow it to support green growth in Vietnam and beyond, paving the way for continued impact in the years ahead.
