EuroCham Welcomes Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) for Dialogue on Sustainable Finance and Collaboration

On 22 July 2025, EuroCham Vietnam had the pleasure of welcoming Ms. Dawn Chan, CEO of the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), and Ms. Levonne Goh, Manager at CIIP, for a discussion at our Ho Chi Minh City office.

Representing EuroCham were Ms. Delphine Rousselet, Executive Director, and Ms. Diep Truong, Advocacy Manager. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share each organisation’s ongoing initiatives and explore potential areas for collaboration in sustainability and impact-driven development.

EuroCham Highlights:

  • Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC) & Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEF): Our flagship initiatives advocating for green transformation and sustainability across Vietnam’s public and private sectors.
  • Global Gateway Project: EuroCham plays an active role in implementing this EU-led initiative to support sustainable investments and infrastructure development.
  • Strong EU Ties: EuroCham maintains close dialogue with the European Commission, with an annual delegation to Brussels to advocate for Vietnam–EU business interests.

CIIP Highlights:

CIIP shared their strategic work in catalysing the growth of impact investing in Asia, with two core focus areas:

  • Ecosystem Development for Impact Investing: CIIP supports the expansion of the impact investing landscape by building ecosystems, funding philanthropic organisations, and coordinating concessional capital for blended finance products.
  • Green Finance for Smallholder Farmers: Recognising that smallholder farmers are both vulnerable to and agents of climate impact, CIIP mobilises funding for green projects that deliver measurable outcomes for this segment.

The CIIP team also shared their ongoing work in transforming the textile industry, aiming to integrate sustainability throughout the supply chain — from sourcing and production to end-user consumption.

Both EuroCham and CIIP expressed strong interest in future collaboration to promote sustainable finance, support Vietnam’s green transition, and empower local communities through impactful, financeable solutions.

EuroCham is committed to continue to build bridges for a greener, more inclusive economy in Vietnam and beyond.
