Four Chambers Align on Shared Business Challenges

EuroCham, AmCham, JCCH, and KOCHAM came together this week for a strategic exchange focused on reinforcing unity and addressing shared regulatory concerns. Despite differences in sectors and structure, the chambers agreed: we all face similar challenges—and a unified voice is key to effective advocacy.

Representing EuroCham at the meeting were Jean-Jacques Bouflet, EuroCham Vice-Chair, Delphine Rousselet, Executive Director, Van Nguyen, External Relations Manager cum Head of Hanoi Office and Pauline Dutertre, Head of Communications & Marketing.

EuroCham reaffirmed its commitment to its 5 Must-Win Battles (EuroCham’s 16th Whitebook Successfully Launched in Hanoi   – EuroCham), referring to last Friday’s work permit reform event (Work Permit Regulations: Constructive Dialogue Between MOHA and the Business Community  – EuroCham), co-organised with Kocham, which underscored this issue as a key focus area for international businesses. The meeting also offered an opportunity to reflect on how current dialogue platforms—such as the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF)—can develop to remain effective in amplifying the voice of the international business community. Chambers noted the value of focusing on shared priorities and concrete outcomes.

During the meeting, the four chambers also discussed the anticipated 7th draft of the food safety decree.

All chambers expressed interest in continuing closer coordination, with more regular exchanges to ensure strategic alignment across the international business community.
