EuroCham Calls for Streamlined Requirements in Cosmetics Management

On 22 September, the Ministry of Justice organised an appraisal meeting on the Draft Decree regulating cosmetics management. Chaired by the leader of the Department of Civil–Economic Law, the meeting gathered representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defence, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Finance, among others, along with representatives from businesses and associations.

Representing EuroCham, Ms Phan Thuy Quynh, Cosmetics Sector Committee member, shared industry recommendations. She emphasised the need to streamline unnecessary requirements in the cosmetics product notification dossier – a pre-marketing control procedure. This would help reduce administrative burden for both enterprises and relevant authorities.

EuroCham Vietnam and its Cosmetics Sector Committee remains dedicated to accompanying the government in policy development for a dynamic and competitive business landscape in Vietnam.
