Charing the meeting was Mr. Ta Manh Hung, Deputy Director General of DAV. Ms. Dao Thi Nguyet Minh, member of Cosmetics Sector Committee, represented EuroCham Vietnam.
Finalised on 5 October, this sixth version of the Draft Decree had undergone an appraisal session with the Ministry of Justice. Mr. Hung shared that the updates reflect the drafting and editorial teams’ collective efforts to ensure the Decree aligns with current practices and stakeholder feedback.
Major amendments focus on:
- Simplification of cosmetics product notification dossiers;
- Clearer procedures for products with post-notification changes;
- Reduced financial and administrative burdens for businesses.
The consultation served as a constructive platform for collecting valuable comments from relevant associations and enterprises to further refine the Draft Decree before submission for approval.
EuroCham remains committed to accompany the government in streamlining the legal environment for a competitive and sustainable cosmetics market in Vietnam.
