Promoting Ethical Standards in Vietnam’s Medical Devices Sector

On 28 November 2024, EuroCham’s Medical Devices and Diagnostics Sector Committee (MDDSC) held a training session on the Code of Ethical Conduct for Interaction with Healthcare Professionals at the Sofitel Metropole Legend Hanoi.

Led by Mr. Hoang Thanh Viet, Head of the Business Ethics Working Group, the event welcomed MDDSC member companies, EuroCham representatives, and over 90 distributors. Following the success of a similar workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, this session aimed to strengthen understanding and application of ethical business practices within Vietnam’s medical devices sector.

The workshop covered practical guidance on adhering to the Code, emphasising its role in fostering compliance and sustainability. Attendees actively engaged in discussions, sharing perspectives on ethical challenges and solutions tailored to the healthcare landscape in Vietnam.

This session highlights EuroCham MDDSC’s ongoing commitment to raising ethical standards and promoting strong partnerships across the industry. By championing compliance and integrity, MDDSC continues to pave the way for a more transparent and sustainable medical devices market in Vietnam.
