EuroCham was present at the Vietnam Silicon Valley Demo Day 2016, represented by Vice-Chair Mr. Miguel Charneco Garrido.
An important event for the Vietnamese Startup scene, the Demo Day 2016 was a successful initiative where 11 startups were able to showcase their products in front of the public and investors. This group of companies had previously participated in a 4-month training programme – or “bootcamp” – promoted by the Vietnam Silicon Valley Accelerator, also the main organizer of this event. Last year’s Demo Day 2015 attracted over 300 investors showing interest for the pitches of our 9 startups.
EuroCham was honored to have been invited and to witness another important milestone in the development of Vietnam’s startup scene, while having the opportunity to re-connect with organisers, participants and related stakeholders.
