On 26 March 2024, EuroCham’s Tourism & Hospitality Sector Committee (THSC) spoke at the “Meet the Experts” conference, a major event in the hospitality and real estate industries. Participating in the GM Panel Debate on the Vietnam Hospitality Market, Mr. Mario Mendis, Chairman of EuroCham’s THSC, shared in-depth insights on Vietnam’s travel infrastructure, visitor experiences, and the nuances of green tourism within the country.
Complementing Mr. Mendis’ expertise, THSC Member Mr. Craig Douglas offered valuable perspectives on the burgeoning supply of new hotels in Vietnam, with a particular focus on Ho Chi Minh City. Their combined knowledge shed light on pathways for sustainable growth, addressing challenges such as cost dynamics and the interplay between local and international establishments operating in the market. Mrs. Huong Vu, Vice-Chairwoman of the THSC, also attended the event.
