EuroCham 2024 Business Awards – Guidelines for EuroCham Direct Member Nominations

We are thrilled to open the nomination period for the prestigious EuroCham 2024 Business Awards. This year, we will celebrate excellence across three key categories:

• Green Business of the Year: This award, the grand prize of the EuroCham Business Awards, honours a business that excels in environmental sustainability. It celebrates a company leading the way in reducing its environmental footprint and integrating sustainable practises into its core operations.
• Business Innovation Award: This award recognises a company that stands out in innovation. It highlights businesses that showcase creativity, adaptability, and unique solutions driving growth and enhancing competitiveness.
• SME Excellence Award: This award emphasises the crucial role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the economy. It honours an SME demonstrating significant growth, innovative practises, and substantial contributions to the local business community.

Winners will be announced at the EuroCham Gala Dinner on 22 October 2024. We look forward to celebrating the outstanding achievements of our members at this prestigious event.

How to Enter:

Please note that the EuroCham Business Awards are open exclusively to current EuroCham members.

• Please be mindful of the deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.

For Members of EuroCham-Affiliated European Business Associations: Members of EuroCham’s nine affiliated European Business Associations should follow these guidelines:

  • Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC)
  • Chamber of Commerce and Industry Portugal-Vietnam (CCIPV)
  • Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV)
  • French Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vietnam (CCIFV)
  • German Business Association (GBA)
  • Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM)
  • Nordic Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (Nordcham)
  • Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (SCCV)
• If you send nominations to EuroCham directly, we will forward them to the appropriate Business Association staff.

Competition format:

We are using a “European Champions League” model for the 2024 competition, similar to 2023. Here is an explanation of how it works.

Nomination by Business Associations: Each EuroCham-affiliated European Business Association will nominate companies from their members for each award category.

Nomination Limits:

• Business Associations with less than 100 members: Can nominate up to 1 company per category.
• Business Associations with 100+ members: Can nominate up to 2 companies per category.
• Business Associations with 200+ members: Can nominate up to 3 companies per category.

EuroCham Direct Member Nominations: EuroCham Direct Members will submit their nominations directly to EuroCham. Our judging panel will review these submissions and add up to 3 nominees per category to the pool of candidates.

Judging Panel Review:

• The pool of candidates will include nominations from business associations, adhering to the nomination limits mentioned above, plus up to 3 additional nominations per category from EuroCham.
• Our judging panel will thoroughly review all the companies in this pool, evaluating them based on the award criteria.
• The panel will shortlist three finalists in each category. The shortlist of finalists will be announced several weeks ahead of the Gala Dinner.
• The final winner of each award will be announced at the EuroCham Gala Dinner on 22 October in Ho Chi Minh City.
