On Friday 6 November, the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) and DEEP C Industrial Zone cooperated together to hold an FDI tour on Investment Landscape in North Vietnam.
 
Gathering the most prominent enterprises in the North of Vietnam, as well as EU Economic Counsellor at the session, the event took place at the Avani Hotel Hai Phong Harbour View and featured speeches from Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of EuroCham, and Mr. Bruno Jaspaert, general director of DEEP C Industrial Zones.
 
The info sharing session shed lights on the diversified opportunities that Vietnam has to bring to foreign investors. Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh stated the implementation of the Europe-Vietnam Foreign Trade Agreement on the 1st August 2020 and the advantageous geographical location of Hai Phong bring great potential for long term growth.
 
Mr. Jaspaert stressed that with the current trend of the diversification of supply chain, Vietnam now is one of the most attractive inbound FDI locations in the Asia-Pacific region. DEEP C expects to welcome a new wave of European investors and manufacturers in Hai Phong, with its integrated infrastructure, and attractive tax packages, there is a multitude of options for businesses to choose from.
 
Attendees and representatives also visited Lach Huyen Port and toured the 5 zones of DEEP C Industrial Complex to experience first-hand the facility’s scale and efficiency. With new areas being excavated to welcome new and substantial long-term clients, DEEP C looks forward to collaborating with more European investors and manufacturers in the coming years.
